for those who live here more than 1 year i have a question.. do maltese people like reading? and i don't mean just the headlines or sunday times.. i mean if the like reading books.. what intrigued me and makes me ask this is the fact that i went to the public library in gzira today only to find out that it is open 3 times a week for 3 hours.. let's say i get it that since it is located inside the school area it could not stay open more hours.. but 3 days a week??

do you know if around malta the schedule is the same?

It seems to me that libraries are here mostly for students. Library here in Xaghra seems to be similar.
More like a morgue when I last went. TG for Kindle etc.

Same in Mellieha, in the local school and open a couple of times a week.
