I'm moving into The Vista Somerset Vista Ho Chi Minh City D2. I here mixed reviews about the area.......anyone know this area and is it safe and a good area for a newbie to hcm?

Vista is nice, quiet place, however it may be a little bit dangerous if you go back home so late in that area, it's quite remote

One of my colleagues lives there, he loves the place and says the management company is very good. I have been to his place a few times too and it's very organized and clean. A bit far from D1 i agree but it's not that bad a commute. The swimming pool at the Vista is probably one of the better once i have seen. Saigon Pearl's one blows.
