Hi my husband has been offered a job working all over Europe but base in France. He will be based primarily between Toulouse and Metz, and we are looking to move to Toulouse. I am both nervous and excited!! We have a 6 month old baby boy and I will be on my own a lot whilst my husband works away. Whilst I am keen to learn French I am also scared and eager to build a network of friends in the region so that I don't become home sick and give up the French life which we have been dreaming of. Do you have get togethers? And could anyone give me info re: general move to France, the auterive area, (we have been told it's a reasonably priced and nice area to live in?) and the French employment system-my husband will be self employed, what taxes etc will we have to pay?
Thank you
Cx
