Did anyone hear exactly what happened yesterday in Zawia? There was some fighting but as i understand it was a clan "war and revenge" thing. I've been told many people were killed and i don't understand... The country is barely recovering from the war (the big one), families are still mourning their loved ones and yet they kill each other the first chance they get, making it unsafe for everyone else in the process...
I've never understood this clan thing... anyone can explain?

Gosh.. this is bad news :(

It's strange. i heard Libya is so religious. i wonder how people justify killing.

they are religious but they also adhere to their own family clan so the "honourable" thing to do when one of them get hit is to hit back until many people die and they pause their revenge... but it's never over

Does the Quran justify getting revenge?
I don't ask that to imply anything. I just want their beliefs.
I am curious because I know alot of times culture is strong determiner in how a person interprets what is written.
I also thought God was more important than familial honor and that love, forgiveness and understanding are the qualities believers are to strive for.
Forgiving takes more strength than killing.
And who loves conflict especially among brothers more than Satan?
