Can i get a USA licence if I live in Switzerland

Hi floks, im 15 and im wishing to get my driver licence nxt year in the USA, here is my question:
Can i get a driving licence if im Americain but i live in Switzerland ?

Hello Eagle,
Each state in the USA has its own Department of Motor Vehicles. Do you know what state you are going to? Contact them (most states have a website) and find out what the requirements are. Some states may require a parent or guardian to sign if you are under 18. If you have already obtained a driver's license in Switzerland, you may be able to either use that (I am not sure, again ask the Department of Motor Vehicles in the state you are going to) or get an international license (which I don't know much about, as I always use public transportation when overseas).

thx for ur help Angela, I was thinking of getting my licence in NJ ( where my family lives). But do u think it could be possible even if i live in Switzerland to have the licence in the US (Im Americain but not my parents.
