Good Sushi in Jeddah

Post new topic

Can anyone make a recommendation?   I love sushi - I actually prefer sashimi - and need a fix on a regular basis.   With the Red Sea so close I'm hoping the selections are awesome.  Creative maki rolls are a plus, too, as long as the flavors don't get lost in the ingredients.   I know the Internations Foodie group did a Sushi night not too long ago and I was sorry to miss that.  I think they ended up at some place like Benihana's for those who didn't want raw fish...  LOL!

Thanks for your input.

I love sashimi as well, especially salmon.

Jeddah food dot com is a website you must visit if you are a foodie.  Here is the link to list of Japanese places:

I would recommend Benihana, Osaka, Zn Lounge, and Salmontini Le Resto, but I am sure there are other good ones on that list as well..  They are all pricey.  When you need your fix but don't want to splurge, Sushi Yoshi is a popular fixture among Jeddawis.  It will run you just half of the other places.

My husband said Maki House was pretty good, but their food was pricey. We had it delivered so I don't know if it is better at the restaurant.

Sushi Yoshi is a staple many of my neighbors go to when they don't know what they want.

My thanks to Trap and SM.

It looks like I'll have more than enough places to get my sushi fix.   Very much looking forward to it.
