Renewing a Vietnamese Motorbike licence

Hi everyone,

I need to renew my Vietnamese Driver's licence as it will expire soon.

Does anyone know the procedure for renewing my licence? I don't want to know how to apply for a new licence, I just want to renew my current licence. I found information on the internet for getting a new licence but I cannot find anything on renewing a licence.

So any info or help would be appreciated.

I think you should fill the renewal form and remit the fee. Re-test is not necessary.

Where do I get the renewal form? Is it available online?

Just go to the same office where you get the license.

The renewal is the same as applying for your license, you have to do the whole thing again. If you want to renew you must also have your renewed license from your home country.

Dont forget the new decree, a VN license will be given as long as the visa in your passport. So if its a 3 month visa, thats all you get with your license. No wonder so many people dont bother getting a license, its too damn hard for most people.
