Malta Birth Certificate Attestation for UAE

Hi,

I have a problem, our son was born in Malta last year and I got his birth certificate with Apostil.

UAE does not recognize Apostil and now they want me to certify it in a UAE Embassy, as there is none in Malta, I have tried through consular service in Rome and they tell me I have to go to Libya....

Anyone has any experience? and/or has any contact of a service which will do the attestation for me. Google didnt help me at all.

Found this site that is in the UK but seems to do it by post and mentions EUA legalisation specifically.

Thanks, i found lots of those sites, but they only do: "UK issued document for use within the UAE"

This is a Malta certificate.

I did the same for my marrige certificate but that one was issued in Switzerland so I had a service there which did it for me.
