Hi,

I have tried to contact the Malta Embassy but they do not have any idea in relation to this.

Do you need to report your presence in Malta when you arrive as an EU and a non EU citizen? This is done so the local authorities are aware of the amount of population in Malta. This is very common in a lot of countries, but does Malta also require people to advise the authorities that you are there?

We didn't except by going through the application for an e - residence card.
I am sure they can tell by the immigration checks upon arrival.
