hello every1. i have been offered job at king saud hospital as a specialist in er dept.   they mentioned its for 3 months. i just have a few doubts abt this.
i asked the hr dept and they mentioned during this period the salary will be delayed for 35-90 days. is this normal?  does this happen with other hospitals as well. what is the concept behind witholding or delaying pay?
its not mentioned in contract but the hr has informed me i wud need to buy insurance 2000 sr and saudi commission fee 3000sr.
can someone let me knowhow much wud it cost and bring till i get my first paychk i am thinking of keeping it to bare necessities.

Doesn't make sense to me, probation period is just for the company to check whether they have hired the right candidate before they make him as a permanent employee. During the probation period employee doesn't get special benefits like the other permanent employees but he get his salary like others on time.

Maybe someone who is working in King Saud hospital can shed more light on this issue.

Insurance and Saudi commission fee - I wont suggest you to pay for them at all, should be borne by the company. Are they asking you to buy the flight tickets too ??

hello kailash. much appreciate ur input.initially when i emailed the king saud hospital they said not to worry abt the probation period and now i only emailed to find out how much will the expenses be if i come +/- family thats when they gave me this info. one of  my colleagues who is working in uae gave me the same advice which u did.
the saudi commission fee, insurance against any malpractise  they told be wud be 3000+ 2000. i dont know since this is not mentioned anywhere during the time of signing contract. or will the hospital be springingmore suprises?
they had given a time frame of 45-90 days till i get my first pay slip and 1 month apartment (free) then they pay me the necessary housing allowance. i was wondering when housing can be paid why are they do they not want to pay my salary on time.
if they are not happy with my work they can do tht towards the end of my probation period. anybody else have knowledge of the system for doctors (probation period and my kind of problem kindly share ur thoughts.
