I am working as an Insurance Specialist in a very well reputed insurance company. My mother is a widow and dependent on me. She was previously living with me in UAE on Iqama through out my over six years stay there.
I have a brother and a sister both of them residing in the UK. I want to sponsor my mother along with my wife and daughter on Iqama i.e permanent visa.
Will any one be able to guide me on the requirement and procedures for sponsoring my mother on Iqama.
Looking forward to some valuable inputs.

Dear Omer, If you are working in a insurance company and as you said very well reputed company, just inbox me all the details and I hope and I will try my level best to help you.
Dear Mr Keith
Thank you very much.
I am working in Tawuniya which is amongst the largest insurance companies in KSA. I am new here and am expecting to receive my Iqama next week. Kindly let me know if any specific information is required.
Dear Mr Keith
I have received my Iqama today. The occupation on it is Insurance Specialist. Can you guide or assist me in applying for my mother's Iqama.
Dear,
I am chemical engineer working in one of the well known refinery in India. Recently I got job offer from one company of Saudi Arabia. The job belongs to SUPERVISORY category in nature.
In my family there are total four members: Myself, wife, two years old daughter and my dependent father.
Please note that my mother is expired and my father is retired person and dependent on me. I dont have any brother who can take care of my father. My fathers health is quite ok. He is of fifty eight years old and healthy person.
Company has offered me Family status. According to Saudi Arabia rules Term Family does not include Father. So I can not bring my father with me under that Family status visa system.
I can not left him alone in india as I am the only person on whom he can depend.
I am looking for alternate ways through which I can bring my father to Saudi Arabia so that he can live with me till the time I live in Saudi Arabia.
I got few information through some resources. One option to bring my father with me is through visitor visa system.
My plan is as per below:
Under visitor visa my father will get visa of 3 month. Before completion of that three month I will apply for extension. My father will get extension of 3 month. After completion of that 3 month extension I will again apply for one more extension of 3 month. Thus My father will get another extension of three month. So total 9 month (3 plus 3 plus 3) my father will live with me at Saudi Arabia. After completion of that 9 month my father has to come back to india.
Once he come to india for a while, I will again apply for another new visit visa for him for three month. Again he will come to Saudi Arabia for three month. Again I will apply for two extension each of three month again he will live for total nine month.
By repeatatively doing so, my father can live with me practically throughout the period I live there.
Now I have few querry / doubt I request you to resolve it.
1. Does the visitor visa system related information which I mentioned above is true?
2. Will my plan which I mentioned above will work practically?
3. Is there any deficiency / risk / loop holes in my plan?
4. What are the factors which can ruin / spoil my plan to work?
5. I heard that visitor visa duration can be 1 month, 2 month, 3 month. It depends on who is giving visa. Is it so?
6. I heard that visa extension period will be same as your original visa duration. For ex: If visa was given for 1 month duration than extension will be also for 1 month. Is it so?
7. Can I bring my father repetitively through visitor visa ?
8. Is there any restriction that I can bring my father maximum xyz time through visitor visa?
9. Is there any agent/mediator in Saudi who can help me in all this visa issuing/extension procedure.
10. Is there any alternate way through which I can bring my father with me at Saudi Arabia.
11. Is there any rule that according to which my father and my wife can not live together in Saudi.
I request to provide me guidance on above points as lot depends on it.
You can reply me on my mail id: gaur_7583@yahoo.co.in
Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi Sir!
I am currently working as A Respiratory Therapist here in National Guard Hospital, Al Hasa.
My parents are with me with VIsit Visa until January 2015( Total of 9 months stay). My father is 67 Years old and my mother is 65 years old. I am supporting them alone financially when they were still in the Philippines. I want to convert their Visit Visa as Dependent Visa. Is that allowed? If yes, What are the procedures and requirements? Can anyone help me please.
Thanks,
Malou
Dear,
It is just a try which we can do to have our parent's on permanent visa. The thing which works for me is i bring Saudi GRO with me to the Istaqdam office before taking him to the office i told him all the situation in detail. So that he can understand well what the problems and feel like he wants to bring his parents. Then he will only try to convinse them atleast to consider application and send to Ministry for your case approval.
If they accept your case to forward to ministry then 50% positive chances to get the visa.
Your trade, your salary. and a company letter play a vital role in this situation. If you have a family here there iqamas will also make a case more strong. Also if you are the only son to take care of your parents you can provide the proof and it will make the case even more stronger.
Hopefully it will work for you.
Remember me in prayers.....
Hi,
For the parents visa, Its very hard but as per the new law Yes you can try . A friend of mine got approval but it was really hard task for him even with the connections.
Actually speaking we can't say there is any proper procedure or surety of getting Iqama for your parents. However, what i do for it i am sharing with you.
My father had died and i am the only son so this makes my cases very strong to get my mother and sister iqama.
Affidavit from mother side made that i am the only care taker in immediate family.
Attestation for death certificate of father and affidavit from foreign office and saudi embassy from Pakistan.
Attestation from MOFA Saudi Arabia for the same documents.
Your salary certificate with chamber stamp and istiqdam form completed and stamped with company stamp.
Also no objection certificate from the company.
Then you have to go to the istiqdam office and the most important with Saudi guy who can explain them and even fight with them same like he is bringing his family. Only than they will process the application and forward to ministry for approval.
If they accept your application than almost 50% chances you will get the visa.
It will take another 6 months depending upon you luck to get the approval or rejection. If case approved than you can again go to Istiqdam and take appointment for the application submission.
Best of luck.
Regards,
Osama
