Howdi,

Anyone know how long its taking from submitting your application to receiving these currently?

I was very please this morning when I went to the basement at Evans Building, St Elmos Place, Valletta. Had my forms already filled in, using the great post kicking around the forums the Red helped to compile.  20 minutes of queuing and the lady ran through my docs, took my two photos and bob's your uncle but I forgot to ask anticipated timescales.

There were a lot of people queuing to have their photo taken so if you can easily get some I'd take your own.

Cheers
Tim

It could be more or less, but I'd guess between 4-6 weeks.

It's possible GnG, but I'd rather give more time to avoid disappointment :)

I'll let you know!

Had a very productive day today and purchased a car, got insurance and VRT, just waiting to transfer ownership tomorrow, and as a bonus got to use the bus 8 times, haha next time round should be much easier!

With by query about HSBC hours the other day I've given up on them (told first appointment to open account is on 19th and first early morning one is 26th!) since my employer has passed me a reference later that BOV will accept so that's tomorrows task, then think I've done everything: Job, Tax, SS, Car. Anything else I should do with setting up here?

Cheers

As an update I've just contacted home affairs and they advised two weeks from application, they took my details and put on hold for a minute or so and then confirmed my card is ready for collection. Pretty efficient service :)
