@ihsanmo24 I have replied to your other post here https://www.expat.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=949043#5688073 for information regarding obtaining your Certificate of No Impediment in New Zealand before coming to Morocco.

Good morning

I have read all these threads, and I would like to thank everyone for their input and sharing the experiences Good and bad.

My first experience was rather sad, and I was bombed. I still feel pretty low that I fell for the stories, but thankfully he realised I was onn to him and he disappeared.

However I want to say that my 2nd experience with my current partner was the complete opposite. So I feel that sadly bad experiences are the individuals.

My current partner has completely restored my faith in men in general. His transparency has been refreshing from day 1. His respect and kindness is on another level. He has travelled extensively due to his job, and this may have an impact in his mentality, but he is so sincere. Yes there is a 10 year age gap me being older and British bug not once has he asked me for anything.

Apart from marrying him. We both feel this is what we want and we are both doing our part in planning our future.

I would like advise. I am a British citizen but born in South africa, and living in London.

I completely understand the uk spouse visa process, but at the same time would love to marry in South africa.

Would our spouse visa process have implications if we were to marry in South africa?

Or would the easiest option be to marry in Cassablanca?

Thank you in advance

@summerlee7. Hi my name is Murray, I have met a beautiful woman in Mekness online it's been nine months now and things are going really well. I have so many questions, around Immigration to NZ. We have talked about marriage in Morocco, I would have to convert to Islam, which doesn't bother me. At the moment she is waiting to be granted a divorce. So, our relationship is a secret for the time being towards her family. I understand we have to live together for a year and prove this, so I can have her apply for a permanent visa to live in NZ. Is it easy for a Kiwi to live and work in Morocco!

Cheers Murray

Peace be upon you.

Hi guys can I just ask you more about this certificate of religious proof as in my country England unless you are a Catholic there is no certificate that you can get to prove you are a Christian. So how do I go about obtaining proof of this?

Capoppy55

Hi Celina,

I’m from the USA but didnt need to produce a baptismal certificate or anything  when I married my Moroccan husband.
