What a stupid, pathetic, unhelpful post at #3.

I think a lot of it depends on if you want a large city, lots of foreigners and/or temperature variations.

Fes and Marrakech are good for people who want bustle and hustle (and hassle) as well as very, very hot summers and coolish-to-cold winters.

Cities on the Littoral are good for mild weather all year round. Asilah, El Jadida, Azemmour, Larache, even Safi. They don't see crowds of tourists, so are relatively hassle-free, especiially the cities in Doukkala-Abda mentioned above.

I wouldn't recommend Agadir (concrete, nasty, package tourism resort), Essaouira (fake, full of tourists) or Tangiers (poor, loads of hassle).
