Moving to Malaysia

Hi, I have been offered to move Malaysia.  However we have not yet discussed on salary part yet.   In this regard I was looking at what should be gross salary package to save minimum of 5k to 7k MYR per month.

Will be looking at followings
- one kid schooling
- two bedroom house on rent
- rest all as a common expenses

Please help us to understand on this.

Depending on the age of your child, the schooling will be RM2k to 4k per month.

Cost of schools

Property costs anything from RM2500 upwards per month.

With a family and a kid I reccomend min 15k RM a monthm anything less is miserable and on 5-7k impossible.

For anyone else reading this for  each extra child add 4k gross ie famly of 3kids 24k per month as 4k gross is 3k net at marginal rate.that is the school fees! (budget3rd tier school).
