I was in Oodnadata at the bottom of the Simpson desert in central Australia when I met the local school teacher.  Turns out we were born only hours apart in 1949 in the same old house in Tauranga NZ. Our mums were friends too. Today its an accountants office. Freaky.

Were your Dad's " friends " as well????  ( Oodnadata,, Innaminka , Coopers Creek, Moonba, Codillo Downs, spent a bit of time up there, I think Coopers Creek pub burned down?, had a lot of history that place too ).

ok for a short jokes thread, but please avoid anything that could be considered as discriminative .... (nationalities, sex, religion, origin and so on..)
