Hi, I like to move to Ghana in the next couple of years, and would like to know the cost of living, housing, rentals etc.
Looking forward to your replies.

Who knows what it will be in a couple of years! I have been here for almost four years and in that time the value of the cedi has gone from about 1.5 to the US$ to nearly 3 so as a result the cost of living has increased considerably. Rent will depend on where you want to live and how big a property you require. Electricity and water have both increased in price and if you want airconditioning you might be paying around 500 cedis a month for electricity. Petrol is now not subsidised to the extent it was so a litre is now nearly 3 cedis. Ghana is not a cheap place to live so you will need a good income if you want to live an expat lifestyle
