Hi - Can anyone share his/hers experience with the 30% ruling for income tax as expats?
I might accept a job offer there, but I don't know what will my net salary be!
I don't know if I will qualify for the 30%, and this will surely make a massive difference to my net income?
Which other payments are mandatory by law there?
Any help/information will be much appreciated.

Thanks
Laurita

Dear Laurita,

Did you already decide to come to the Netherlands? You have to meet certain conditions to be eligible for the 30%-ruling. 1. be hired from abroad . 2. employment income roughly > EUR 50.000. If you have any further tax questions, please do not hesitate to contact me at [moderated: please do not post your phone number on the forum]

Hi There

As regards the 30% ruling only your company will be able to advise you. I was not able to have my 30% confirmed until after I started and the application was put forward to the tax dept based on my position.

Trevor
