Hi ozzg,

Welcome to Expat.com :)

I created a new thread with your post on the Brussels forum for more visibility and for a better interaction with the other members.

I advise you to drop your CV here please : Nurse job offers in Brussels section.
Maybe it can help you.

Have a nice day,

Priscilla

Someone who worked there recently told me they were looking for logistics people in UZ Gent, thats about 25 miles from brussels (30 kilometres). It's a long shot probably but if you have qualifiacations and are willing to start working under your ed maybe you got a chance, applying won't hurt im sure you can google them out if you really want to find them. Brussels will require french-speaking people for nurses, im pretty sure of that. Logistics ppl on the other hand dont have language as a primary. Im not a person where the sun is always shining so : you will get hours called service-coupé most likely where you have to work like 4 hours in the morning then 3 hours not then four hours afternoon to evening. Sometimes maybe nights. If you have the degree for nursery and you are willing to work under that they probably give you a front row seat, however the last few years have really not been the best of times to find a job in belgium. Good luck

Language may be a problem as mentioned before but it would be worth trying to contact job agencies, just type interim bruxelles in google and you will have plenty of them. There are a few that specialise in health jobs, perhaps a good starting point for your job hunt. all the best
