Hi Everyone, I'm Marle, and this is Charne . We are living in South Africa at the moment, but would like to emigrate to Thailand. We wish to buy a bussiness in Patong and work there full time. And advise would be helpfull.

Hi again. I just meant. you should know more about Thailand especially when starting business. or have trust worthy friends. I'm not saying Thailand is bad. but if you go to a new Country you should learn a bit how it is. good luck

As a foreigner you have to start a company
register it
have 4 thai people working there
have an office
pay social welfare for the thais
pay tax on min 50000 baht per year
do accounts every month
get a work permit
get an extension of stay
etc etc

some work you cannot do as its reserved for Thai people
