Hi,
My name is Sameer and I am a main stream musician and a producer music, related to media, music industry & show bizz. I have traveled a lot and lived in UK, US, Middle East etc. I plan to come to Malaysia by next month. I will be looking for work, projects etc. I also need to get a professional visa once I am there.
I need to find a place to stay and make new friends and stuff.

In Malaysia I am sorry to say you will be a "no-one". You will be looked down upon and everything will be much harder for you as the country practices protectionism. It may be advisable to prepare in advance rather than just turn up, otherwise you may find it is very expensive and difficult to get established. This is nothing personal, it is just the fact of life in this part of the world.
