It was several years since I lived in Germany, but I got a job relatively easy through an agency. Sadly I don't have the contact details any longer, but it was in Munich were I was based and the recruitment office was pretty much bang in the city centre. I'll try and dig up some details.

Many companies use the agencies. You'll need a Vermittlungsgutschein from the Arbeitsamt.

Wayback: You are replying to an old thread, inactive since over 10 years. I encourage you to read and contribute to more recent and active threads instead.
By the way: A "Vermittlungsgutschein" (voucher for employment agent fee) is not available for most foreigners - and usually also not necessary, because in almost all cases the agency is paid for by the employer.
