I've just heard about this World Food Festival starting tomorrow and I was wondering if I could get there at the last minute, for only one day?

Is there anyone attending this event? What's the easiest way to go there? Thanks for your replies ;)

Take the ferry from District 1 (opposite Renaissance Riverside Hotel Saigon) to Vung Tau. Takes about 1.5 hours. Ferries leave every 30 minutes or so. Lots of taxis at the ferry terminal in VT. They should all know how to get you to the Imperial Hotel on Bai Sau. That's like the epicenter of all the stuff they've been setting up over the past week. I haven't been able to find a posted schedule, so I'm just going to taxi over and see what's up. Ferries only run from like 6a to 6p. You might want to consider spending USD$30-40 and stay one night in VT. Good luck!

Thanks for the tips. Ferry is the fastest way I think. I hope it won't be too overcrowded.

I'm looking forward to tasting the food there! *o*

Hi Chun Yee,

Be careful when you eat out in Vung tau, the prices there is not static/fixing...some bad hosts require the very high price after you done the eating ( it might from 70-120$...) reminder not at all... I feel sad when tell this truth...the ads always be nice but the food not so delicious as you hear, today I read the article like this in Vung tau, if you know any specific  reliable food store then go ahead and experience your trip, the beach not so clean as well...
