If you want to teach in Bangkok, the best place to start looking for a job is on Ajarn.com.  They have the best daily updated job board and I have gotten all my teaching jobs from it, including my present Corporate English job.

Do NOT go through an agency for teaching.  Agencies take a lot of money off the top before you get your salary, so you will make a few thousand baht less every month than you would if you got the job yourself.  Plus, many people report problems with agencies - being ripped off with money, not applying for their work permits correctly, problems with agency management etc.
