Hi folks,

Some friends and I are thinking about visiting Jem and mainly Djerba for a few days, we do not want to stay in hotels as we want to get a real feel of the local culture and customs staying with locals or expats living in either of the aforementioned cities. So do you happen to know anybody who is willing to open their door and host us for one day in Jem and 3 in Djerba?

We tried couchsurfing.com, but the community seems to be dead in these cities!! :(

Any suggestions are welcome :)

Cheers

There is a Facebook page called Bed and Breakfast - ouvrir sa maison aux étrangers pour quelques jours which means open your house up to foreigners for several days.  Try posting on that
