Icelanders

Me and my husband and 2 children are dreaming of moving to Mauritius .  We are from Iceland .  We have never been there before but learned alot about the island . we finally agreed to move there next year (july - august 2015 )

We are financially comfortable and want to come and look for a home ourselfs and wich area we want to live  ...  We want to spend the first 3 months exploring and looking for work and a home :)

Is it possible to apply for a visa after u enter the country ?

Thank you so much

It will be advisable to read what is published on this site to know how you can stay/live  on the island as a non-citizen:

Hi

When you come in here, normally you'll have a tourist visa for 6 months....is iceland in the european union ?
Also let me have you email address , I do not promise, I'll try to get you the information you need.

You can also try this government website :

http://passport.gov.mu/English/Passport … itius.aspx

Note that for iceland , no visa required ....

and I belive its easier to know what has to be done for longterm stay once you are here...otherwise, you can get in touch via skype on tooofaneeshaad to discuss further.

regards
