Hello,

I am preparing to move to London as an expat in 3 months. I would very much appreciate you help. I have got 2 kids and when we arrive London, schools will be in mid-term. The area we are going to live will depend on our kids school. To find a school I have to apply for in-year applications to the related bureau. To do so, I have to find a house. But how should I if the school is not determined? I mean, if I pick up a house in Richmond and applied for the school in this area, maybe, the school that excepts in-year admission will be 2 miles away from the house.

Can't I choose the school first and look for a house around the school afterwards??

Please help !

Thank you

can you contact the school that you prefer and if they 'could' take your children then just focus your house search on their catchment area.... I'm sure most of the schools in Richmond have these type of requests and will be used to the situation you are in.... Its worth a try.
