Does Tata Sky box work in Muscat?

Hi

Could Indians please advice - if I carry my Tata Sky DVR box, will I be able to use it in Muscat?

Or should I get some other operators box?

Tata Sky has serious reception issues in Muscat. I don't know how it is in the other parts of Oman.

Dish TV works just fine - as good as it does in India.

Do we need the dish TV antenna or it can work without it ? As having dish TV in Oman would be a problem right ?
