Yes, the leaves of this plant are really good for people's health. You can certainly eat its fresh leaves or drink like tea.

Here are some key info of this plant (for those who are lazy with Google search):

Hoan Ngoc = Pseuderanthemum palatiferum = ว่านพญาวานร (HÒAN NGỌC, 神奇樹葉)
Hoan Ngoc: It is a plant that originates from Vietnam and has been used as a medicinal herb for hundreds of years over in Southeast Asia. As Hoan Ngoc enriches with flavonoids, clinical docs believe that this plant has chemical property of antioxidant, , antifungal, antibacteria, healing diabetes, high blood pressure, organ inflammation, detoxify liver etc. It also helps to reduce the side effect from radiation and chemotherapy. It is natural safe and has no known side effect.

Recommended the amount of consumption by 35 Congress of Science and Technology, Thailand, that this medicinal herb can help in respect of the following diseases:-
Hemorrhoids (7-9 leaves/meal)
Dyspepsia (7-9 leaves/meal)
Diarrhea (7-9 leaves/meal)
Chronic Constipation (7 leaves/meal)

Direction
Take 5-6 leaves of each, rinse well and mix with salad or blend them with fruits as smoothies. The amount of consumption may vary by the body size (bigger build, needs more). For the best result...eat when empty stomach twice a day for at least 3 weeks to two months.
For cancer patients, it is recommended to eat fresh leaves for the maximum benefit to relieve uncomfortable and burn due to chemotherapy or radiation.
To grow the plant with root after receiving - This plant can be grown in pot and land. They grow fast in warm weather soil and in the areas under shade that prevent direct sunlight from reaching the plants. Hoan Ngoc can grow up to 2 meters. The plant will die down when the temperatures drop below 40F, and will grow back when spring arrives. Water daily or when the soil dry and avoid water directly to their leaves.

To expand, cut 3-5 inches stick in potting soil under the shade. They will grow the root and new leaves. Water daily.
