Are you looking for a better job abroad along with higher wages? You are very likely to find what you are looking for in China.

According to the 7th HSBC Expat Explorer Survey report, released this Wednesday, 22nd of October 2014, China ranks 3rd among the world's 34 best destinations in terms of expatriation. Indeed, China ranks after Switzerland and Singapore and is followed by Germany, Bahrain, New Zealand and Thailand. Note that some 9,300 expatriates in some one hundred countries worldwide have been interviewed about their opinions and feelings regarding different issues such as the quality of life, financial well-being, and the ease of raising a family abroad.

According to the HSBC Expat Explorer Survey report, China turned out a veritable haven for expatriates looking for new professional opportunities and better wages. In fact 53% of them admit having moved there in search of a better job and 5% of them claim to earn more than 300,000 US$, which represents one of the largest proportions in the overall ranking. Moreover, 85% of expatriates in China reveal that they are satisfied with the country's economic situation while more than a half associate the country to economic growth.

But that's not all. China is also the country where foreigners have a greater purchasing power. 62% of them claim to spend less in terms of public transport while 51% claim to make more savings on the purchase of household goods. Also, 62% of expatriates interviewed say they spend less on public utilities bills, as well as on leisure activities. Hence, they end up with more disposable income than in their home country of origin. 43% of them affirm having a more active social life.

Note that China also stand out in terms of education. Indeed, 65% of expat parents are satisfied with the quality of education offered in China and argue that the level and academic performance of their children have improved since they moved.
