Which area should i book hotel.? I stayed in nguyen hue oscar hotel last trip in july. I read  that whole area is a construction site now. Is benthanh  area damaged too?

There is road access to the hotels, still. Hotels will carry your bags from the nearest side road, of which there are many. Besides, the Oscar Hotel entrance is a couple of metres from an access point.

And affected hotel properties are 'looking after' the taxi drivers very generously, so they don't 'forget'.

Motorcycles have free access to Nguyen Hue. The construction area is fenced off and will last until 2015 April.

How about Ruby Hotel? I have some relatives coming to stay there in district 1 bear Ben Thanh market. Any major constructions, noises, disruptions around that area.

It's not that noisy, most of the heavy lifting has been completed. I was down there last week.

A similar style hotel, only a block away, on DONG KHOI is the Huong Sen Hotel < http://huongsenhotel.com.vn/?cmblang=en >.

They have a great, included, breakfast and a roof-top bar and sauna (straight). I used to stay there for months on end before we decided to rent apartments in HCMC.
