is it worth the move??

Hi all,

im considering an offer of 18,000 AED per month  basic monthly salary all inclusive (medical/accommodation/annual flight) @ Abu Dhabi providing IT Support.

im 31 and single, live a simple yet comfortable life style in the UK.

Is it worth the move???

I understand this may be a very common question, appreciate any response.
Many thanks

18000 AED comes to approximately 4000 Euro,Abudhabi is very costly emirate in UAE the rents are very high in this place,if the company is providing you with accommodation then its its a good salary, but if you going to pay for your own accommodation then you will end up hand to mouth with this salary, but you can live reasonably good life style.

Very similar responses gained from reading other threads. Although it is tax free, living expenses are high in Abu Dhabi. Hence what's offered may sound a lot but won’t go far once essentials are taken care of.

If the employer is not willing to negotiate I will be declining the offer and continue my search.

Thanks for taking the time to advice abubakar007 i'v taken it on board.
