ISIS threat .. truth or a hoax?

Post new topic

mrvong

I heard through a friend that ISIS is becoming more of a threat and a presence in Jeddah. Is this true? He mentioned some ISIS supporters throwing rocks at parents that were picking up their children at the American international school. Also there were forums where supposedly ISIS targeted specific people at the school. Has anyone heard anything about this?

The American School was named on one website, but even the school has put out items saying not to worry. It has more security than most other schools. If I remember right this was this fall & it suggested soft targets be attacked and that that particular school wasn't considered a soft target.
Also I believe it wasn't actually IS it was random jihadist website. As for the rock throwing I have not heard anything about that & as students are picked up behind a security checkpoint, which is also behind a wall I kinda doubt it. Also those who I know who either teach there or have kids who go there have not said anything.

Again all that you mentioned happened last fall. Why do you wait months to bring it up?

This is impossible, if the government doubted they won't leave them and will catch them
