Hi everyone

Looking at moving to Malta this year. Wanted to know how easy it is to bring my two labs over with me. I know about the pet passport just confused when they talk about the route of transport. Can I drive them over in the car?? Any help would be great x

Welcome.
You can bring them in a car.
Pre notification of arrival is required.
Read posts on this section for info and experiences but check as some postings will be quite old.

I am sure others who have done this will elaborate.

You can. Best way is to get ferry from sicsily

The ferry from Sicily has been plagued with problems lately, just check, double check and have a contingency plan.

I drove down, and know others who have done since. the main thing is to have the passport, and get the documents as mentioned above, signed and emailed back to you before you travel, then they just meet you on arrival, check everything then off you go.

Vets etc are much cheaper here than UK too!
