ELECTRICITY AND WATER

WHO KNOWS WHY AS EU RESIDENTS OF MALTA WE ARE PAYING MORE FOR ELECTRICITY AND WATER THAN MALTESE RESIDENTS.IS THIS TRUE?!!!!

Residents pay one price, non-residents pay another - nothing to do with nationality.

If you are a resident, have an ID card, a residency permit, and are registered for tax, you should be paying the residents price.
If not, you need to inform Enemalta.

it is not just me and i think u should read the article from the times. many people have id cards and malta is their sole residency-however here as nowhere else in the world there are 2 prices for the same product/s

I'm a foreigner, and I pay the residents price. I took my paperwork to Enemalta, and had no problem in registering the fact I was resident.

coming back to this "many people have id cards and malta is their sole residency" - you need a residency permit as well, which by law you have to apply for if you live here for more than 3 months.
