You can't get married unless you get divorced first, sweetie.

Only the guys can get shacked up with multiple girlies. That's the way the cookie crumbles in the Arab world.

I agree with Sandman6 you cant get married without a divorce agreement and that goes for any country.
I am sure you can get into lots of trouble being with your boyfriend here, If your husband wanted to he can have you charged you with adultery under Sharia law ( Marriage is Marriage) whether your together or not. Its happened before here and this poor women was sent to prison. Be careful

have a question.... I have a friend  who is a  pilipina and was been converted to muslim and then she got married in Sharia Court Sharja U.A.E to a muslim indian national however there wedding lisence with the indian national was not been registered in there country of origin or even in the Philippine embassy when she was still here in U.A.E. And now she is in the Philippines and no longer had a communication with her former indian husband. As far as I know her former husband was already been married now and she had never contacted my friend anymore. Now my friend wanted to get married in Philippines to a christian guy. Is there any problem with her marriage ? and she wanted to know if  sharia court philippines does  have a record of the wedding  in Sharja Sharia COurt? Does the Sharia Court in U.A.E pass this information down to sharia court of other contry?

  Kindly reply.... Thank you
