Hi

I'll be traveling to Kuala Lumpur from India next week and would want to know what kind of documents I should carry apart from my work visa/passport. Do I need any medical certificates or any other documents?

So where is your work permit? Apart from that its handy to have a credit card-sized ID membership card as sometimes you have to leave ID to enter a building.

You should have your work contract so you can board the plane in India. Sometimes the immigration can be tricky in India.

You will have to show your original qualification certificates and get them stamped when the company submit your passport to immigation.

You will need access to quite a bit of money to rent an apartment e.g. 3.5 months rent up front (including 1st month of rental).
