AustCham http://www.austcham.org/  organises a weekly get-together called Kooka Networking Drinks. They hold it every Friday evening from 6:30pm - 10pm.

If you are not limited to Australians then please feel free to join us on Tuesdays

Yes, I had forgotten them. They normally meet monthly for a coffee morning. I think mostly targeted at trailing spouse since most of the activities are in the daytime though they do organise other events.
