Hi,

My husband and I are thinking about relocating to Malaysia with our 4 kids, looking to live in a city that is modern, has an islamic atmosphere and islamic schools to put our kids in. We would also like to live close to the water if possible.

I have so many questions, like what part of Malaysia is recommended, how much would a typical family my size need to live per month, housing etc. What is it like living in KL and Pegang?

I don't know too much about Malaysia, only that it is beautiful and safe to live.

Thanks advance for ur help, and taking time out of ur time.

have a great day!!!

Hello Jujey,

It is a good idea to live in Malaysia but before we advice you, you would better tell us how you are going to support your family and the level of your income. By the way, are you registered in this forum as male or female?

Hi Ega,

My husband will be financially supporting us, but I was also thinking of working as an English Teacher. I just need to know how much typically a family with 4 kids, in islamic school, car, housing, food and bills would approx. cost for living in a medium class atmosphere.

Hope you can help with some information

Thank u

Hello Jujey,

Life in Malacca is wonderful and cheap. Good for families with children and there is an international school, where you can send your kids. And for your peace of mind, there is a sea nearby where you can find a cozy condo with facilities of pool, gym, covered carpark, and table tennis, which its monthly rental is 5 times lower than Kuala Lumpur!

If you and your husband are coming for work or intend to find a job in Malaysia, I will suggest you think of Kuala Lumpur, which is very expensive place to raise a family with 4 kids. If you do not have to worry about income and your husband is working elsewhere, then this small city of Malacca will be your right choice to raise and educate your children.
