Things to do in Leicester during the weekends

Hi.....just depends what you want to do.....if you want to chill out in the countryside you must go to Bradgate Park it has been voted by The Times as one of the best and most attractive parks in the top ten in the UK.
There are many paths in the park and you cannot miss seeing some of the 600 deer which roam freely in the park over a relatively small area only a few miles.There is also a cafe in the middle of the park and also attractive cafes etc at the Newton Linford end.
If you want sport of course you can see either Leicester City play football or Leicester Tigers at rugby...but you need to check availability of tickets a few weeks in advance. If you want to keep up with 'whats happening' locally just purchase the Leicester Mercury paper and especially on a Thursday as it details weekly events.
You can also look on the social media site GUMTREE for a wealth of information.
If you want to go to a club for night life etc.....of course Friday and Saturday are best, just go into the City centre but best to go with a friend if you can as evidently it can get 'very lively'.
