I lost my Iqama 27 Nov when I went to write my Saudi Council exam it took 4 days and SR1020  and I had a new one. I think its the power of your company.

Saudi Council exam, what's that?

Laylah

it's an exam nurses need to take (and pass:)) in order to get the saudi council nursing license in KSA. But I thought it was only for the philippino, malaysian and indian nurses?
western trained nurses don't have to take the exam.

@Laylah, thanks for this response, interesting.
@Sparrow - why did you have to take it then?  Are you maskerading as a saffie? :D
@Laylah - just checking out your blog site - wicked!:top::thanks:

@GWT-flow (I was polite on the initials)- Laylah is correct, apart from being lisenced to practise in my own country I have to have a liscence to practise in this country. It is the same board exam the USA et al use for one to immigrate into their country. If U fail 3 times you sent home (I have seen this happen)- would U like a health care professional who failed their exam to be at your bedside...

While getting out of the car outside my apartment yesterday, I dropped my card wallet. It had my iqama, family iqamas, medical cards, driving license, hospital cards, security pass etc etc (a God's creation had everything in one wallet). I couldn't sleep last night thinking what would it take to replace all that and my heartbeat was definitely at par with a running tiger.

Well, I couldn't hold back a tear when I got a call from an IT professional this morning. He returned the wallet spick and span without asking for money.

The 22 hours felt like 220, but I am glad there was no damage.

OMW thank you for the reminder befor i get out there think i'll invest in a cord for mine as i tend to lose things al over the place and atach it to some part of my body :dumbom: permanently at least then i will have to lose the body part to lose my Iqamas etc

Hey Sparrow I noticed i didn't get the normal ribbing on the initials, you must be having a 'soft' moment! But I can't help but wonder at the thought of you at my bedside, qualifications or not, I would still be worried especially with you in your mischievous mood!
