Someone is using my iqama number

First go to STC and find out what this relates to.  Could be an old connection or a mistake. 

It is doubtful that anyone can use your Iqama for a mobile SIM as when they issue it, they see the physical Iqama and do fingerprints.  Unless, when you got a SIM, they issued two SIMs on the fingerprints and Iqama...........don't buy from places like Batha and go to the mobile provider outlets.

In fact, this may happen. I personally experienced this. When I landed here, I used my friend's SIM card while waiting for my Iqama. I went to Zain after the issuance of Iqama to buy the SIM card,  at that day they told me that 5 connections(STC & Mobily) are taken using my ID; I got shocked. Immediately, went to STC & Mobily and cancelled all.

Yeah, some outlets are notorious for this but what they do is that when you get your SIM issued, they secretly issue some more while handing over one to you.  But it is strange that they could actually use your Iqama even though you recently got it - which means that you probably never gave anyone a photocopy of it even.

There is a way to check what numbers are issued against your ID by using the below site:

@XTang hello i have bought a sim card on batha and now i hve a problem which they put 8 numbers attached to my iqama and with bills i go to all the network providers and said i need to pay to cut it off but i dont have that kind of money to pay them and i did not use them so why would i pay can you please help me thank you

Why did you get a card from batha to begin with?  Get it directly from STC shop and they will verify it with Absher. 

You have to ask the provider to remove numbers. No other way.  Maybe also file a complaint with citc

@XTang  hello brother I bought sim card through Zain office but after few months blocked..and then I went batha to buy new sim card in one small mobile shop I did fingerprint but I can't issue sim card that time because my iqama was expired but after my iqama renewed I went to buy sim card in Zain office but can't cause that batha Bangali guy issued 7 sim card including stc and mobily 😢😥.  In Zain office I told him to cancel all numbers from my I'd but that silly guy remove only my Zain number and charged me 150 riyal . What to do brother in this situation I can't think what to or what not to do ..if you have any idea help me please 🥺

Everyone please don't buy sim card through your iqama in small mobile shop or small mobile distribator .. They will copy your finger print and they will issue much more number in your I'd ...

Zain office will only cancel Zain SIM.  Go to STC and Mobily offices.

Hello sir did u complain it to the police i have about 5k+ sar bill on stc mobily and zain , did u pay it all huhu i regret buying on small shops in batha is ur problem solved now ? In zain u only paid 150? But they told mine about 1300 bcoz its wifi and that is a contract

Same Scenario just today visit to Zain Branch asking to remove 4 numbers registered to my iqama , he said should be settle the amount of 190 for the bill which not my fault . I bough also my stc sim in batha wayback last year it's hard to change a number again . Did someone know how to stop the person using your iqama ? is changing simcard is the solution or still not .

The simplest way, what I keep telling people, NEVER buy SIMs from Batha..........always get them from the provider's official outlet.

Read what I said.  Never buy from Batha or indeed any shop outside of the telecom providers own outlet.

You can't check except to see Ejar if there is any lease registered to you.

@dilrana1219 this is what i fear also after taking a final exit and all the bills and payments pop out of nowhere by people using our iqama illegally

@Watermelon21 You can use the CST app to check all the numbers registered to your Iqama. You can also request termination/file complaint to all the number you don't know registered to you.

And it was not just mobile number but wifi numbers inorder for me to cut it off is by going the service providers

@Watermelon21 Hi. I also have the same problem with you. I checked the CITC and found out that I have 1 Mobily number and 5 Zain Numbers registered in my iqama. I wen to mobily and they disconnected the number, however, I received a message from Mobily that I have a pending debt of 983SR which is not mine. Now, I dont have time to go to mobily branch as I am out city. I really dont know what to do now.

For ZAIN, i have a lot of tickets created in their portal and in their branches but the numbers are still not deleted in my Iqama. Did you manage to fix your problem?

@ZEDRED i did call zain they got it removed but i didnt pay yet also in stc i didnt pay yet but in mobily they said i cannot cut it out without paying it first i left it like that huhu im really worried zain 1500 stc 2300+ and the cs tell.me around 2900 in mobily 🥲

I went to mobily head office before when i let then disconnect the number in my iqama and i am planning to go there again to inquire for the message i received about 983Sr debt. This is really alarming. I really dont know what to do if they really let me pay the amount.

@XTang Hi. Do you have idea where can we report a complaint to stop this alarming and notorious tactic of several shops in Batha who are using our Iqama to register a lot of telecom numbers? I have been billed with mobily around 900sr which is not mine.

as far as I remember, I went to batha to purchase sim last 2018 and I was new then and i dont have idea that they are not authorized and they will use my iqama for others.

this is really alarming. I want telecom companies to investigate it but i dont know how to let them know and believe because i already went to their branches but they are saying its under my name.

how can we shut down this shops in batha? Where can we report them? Telecom companies should know that these unauthorized shops are using our iqama for others and its not our fault.

You will have to pay.  Read the thread - you can complain to CITC but nothing will come of it in all likehlihood.  This was part of the old process where you needed Iqama copy to get a SIM.  Now the process is electronic and requires OTP via Absher through CITC - this is what they did to finish the business of those shops.

Block and change your ATM cards.  Next time, think before acting.

shared my experience with all. i received message from zain state owe SR 14,000K since last year.

i complained muliple times to zain and ctc. thank god , in the end, this amount was removed, now my iqama no more owing.
