How to live in Mauritius

I'm Egyptian, working currently in Egypt as software developer, i'm looking forward to move to a promising country such as Mauritius.
I don't know how really i should start the trip, should i first come to Mauritius as a tourist and discover my way there about job opportunity, housing, etc.
Or i should do all this work remotely through the internet so that i can travel for a known path.
Please give me help dear expats in Mauritius.

You should come probably as a tourist for a few weeks , certainly to see what the island has to offer in accommodation and social life etc. Of course you want to see what job opportunities are available as well . If you look at Mauritius from the Computer perspective then a concentration of companies is at CYBERCITY (EBENE) near the motorway at Rose Hill.
Others areas especially in the business sector have good computer systems in place. Also checkout what is on offer before you come or even now at http://myjob.mu/index.php there are always a good selection of computer jobs there.

Finally when you come to Mauritius enjoy your stay !!!
