Hi,

Music is said to be a universal language. Indeed it helps to discover and better understand the culture of a country.

What are the most popular music genres in Kenya? How about traditional music and instruments?

Who are the local artists you would recommend?

Where can you listen to them: are there any concerts or music festival held regularly?

Thanks for the thoughtful post.
Kenya music is very diverse.As for me i'm more into Kenyan traditional (you can get this music at the Kenya cultural centre opp Norfolk hotel or Bomas of Kenya) and Benga Music

Venues where you can find good live kenyan music is:
1.Choices Baricho Road every Thursday night from 8pm entry free.
2.Godown Art centre every last saturday of the month from 2pm entry free.

4.Inka
5.Villagers Band
