Hi My name is Sarika.  I am from South Africa and I wish to go on a working holiday to Mauritius for a few years with my family.  Both my husband and I are teachers.  we have 2 kids aged 6 and 9.  Can someone who has done this, please give me some advise on how to go about doing this?

Hi and welcome,

I am not sure if there is such a thing as a working holiday here, you can come to work but you must meet certain criteria. I believe there are opportunities for voluntary work here, but obviously unpaid.

Take a look at the Governments official site for coming to live and work in Mauritius, I am sure if you have any questions you will be able to email them to get the correct reply.
