Cars (used or new) and import taxes ??

Can somebody confirm what is the situation on taxes on cars.
How much imposed on a new car and
how much imposed on a used car.

Have seen rumours that on new cars the tax was abolished, is this right?

Also what is Ethiopian law regards to driving a Right Hand Drive car in a Right Hand Drive country. If you don't understand what I mean see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Right-_and … nd_traffic
