I am an Australian expat in Bolivia and have been studying backstrap and other simple loom weaving in South America for the last 14 years.
Recently I read about a publication of a new book in Bangladesh about traditional textiles and backstrap weaving techniques that I would like to buy. However, none of my efforts to contact the authors or publishers have succeeded. I have relatives in India who have also tried and who not received any response either. If someone who lives there could help me make contact with a store which sells the book or the publishers themselves so that I can buy this book I would be very grateful. It is called Strong Backs, Magic Fingers
co-authored by Prof. Niaz Zaman and Manjulika Chakma and has been published in English co published by IUB the independent University of Bangaldesh and was launched in May this year.
I have written directly to the publishers but they don't respond.
