How and where to claim iqama personally (unassisted by employer)

Post new topic

Kilomanjaro

Is it even possible to claim my iqama personally?

I went to jawazat in Tahlia yesterday and its supposed to be ready because it was processed before hajj.

No body can speak english there. I was told to claim it from jawazat in kandara. Anyone knows where this is exactly?

My boss cant assist me on this matter.

Thank you.

No, being an employee, your employer or his appointed Government Relations Officer only can do it.

Jawazat has changed their procedures lately. They have stopped allowing collection of Iqamas from their offices. Rather, Saudi Post is being used for such deliveries. As it's a new process and is partially implemented yet, substantial delays have been noticed so far.

Don't think you can ? someone confirm.

You don't wanna go to Jawazat Kandara...

Thank you for your response.

Does the same procedure apply in Jeddah?
