Retirement visa

Post new topic

Hi,  I will be 50 years old next September,  I know I can get a retirement visa, moving from England.  I think I can go to Thailand 90 days before my 50th Birthday, with an extended visa, which I apply for in England.  The question I would like answering is, do I apply for my retirement visa, when I get to Thailand,  or do I apply for it in England ?,  would be grateful if someone could give me advice on this, Thanks

Get your retirement visa from England it will be much cheaper, I am also waiting until I am 50 to retire, in my case I can get a 1 year Marriage Visa which is an O class the same as a retirement visa which last for 1 year, if you are not married you put something 800000 baht into a Thai bank account and leave it there, this changes to 400000 if you are married. You can also have an income stream coming from your country. Please see link for other information.
