Salary & Apartment Questions

Hello all,

I'll be moving to Abu Dhabi next month and I'm having doubts on whether or not I agreed to an acceptable compensation package.  I'm currently a mid-level administrative/finance manager with 8+ years experience.  I accepted an assistant director position with the following package:

25,000 pm basic salary
14,000 pm housing
2,000 pm transport
6,000 pa home tickets
55,000 one time relocation allowance

Is this offer consistent with offers made to similarly experienced workers in the finance/administrative management field?  I'm worried that the offer may be on the low end when compared to others with a similar job.

Also, is 14,000 pm (168,000 pa) enough for a two bedroom apartment along the Corniche... perhaps in Al Khalidiya or Markaziya?

Thank you in advance for your responses.  I find this forum to be very helpful!

It's an acceptable offer, but If you are so specific about the location of your apartment, I don't think you can find any in your budget.
